Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Full time housekeeper needed!

Terra Bella Senior Living is the proud operator of more than 30 community‑focused senior living communities located throughout the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. The communities together account for more than 2,200 units, offering Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and short‑term Respite Care.

• Perform cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and wet mop all floors and stairways; spot clean and vacuum floors, rugs, carpets and runners, rotating runners in hallways and entryways.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures and facilities; stock dispensers as needed.
• Scrub bath and shower room tiles, woodwork, window frames, and sills.
• Maintain equipment and materials needed for work in a clean and orderly condition.
• Collect trash and refuse from work areas and place in designated pick‑up areas.
• Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
• Maintain the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Store cleaning chemicals securely and lock them when not in use.
• Keep cords, carts, equipment, and other hazards out of the way, ensuring exits remain open and fire code compliance.
• Report needed repairs, supplies, and equipment to the Lead Housekeeper.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the residents.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Appropriate interpersonal skills – courteous and friendly interaction with guests, residents, and staff.
• Physical capability: standing, walking, using hands, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, occasional sitting.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally; includes close vision and color vision.
