Overview
Jones Networking is recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join a respected and growing law firm in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to manage both pre-litigation and litigation matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Responsibilities- Represent injury victims and their families throughout North Carolina in matters involving motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury claims.
- Manage a full caseload of pre-litigation and litigation matters from intake through settlement, trial, and resolution.
- Conduct case investigations, evaluate liability and damages, and develop effective case strategies.
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and expectations.
- Collaborate with legal staff and attorneys to ensure timely and efficient case management.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, court rules, and firm procedures.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license and good standing with the North Carolina Bar.
- Minimum of 3–5+ years of personal injury experience, including pre-litigation and litigation matters.
- Demonstrated experience managing cases from intake through trial preparation and resolution.
- Proficiency with case management systems; experience with Needles is a plus.
- Strong legal writing, drafting, and proofreading skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and sound professional judgment.
