LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in the Charlotte area. The firm is searching for a Litigation Paralegal to support their legal operations. This role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with legal professionals on a variety of litigation matters, including commercial and bankruptcy cases. This role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with legal professionals on a variety of litigation matters, including commercial and bankruptcy cases.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and organize litigation calendars using Microsoft Outlook
- Record case updates and notes in the internal case management system
- Draft legal documents and pleadings, file with courts, and manage service of process
- Track and ensure timely payment of legal invoices from external counsel
- Monitor judgment renewal timelines and maintain related documentation
- Review and distribute court notices to relevant stakeholders
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience; bankruptcy exposure is a plus
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
