Overview
A highly respected, large law firm with an outstanding reputation is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its Charlotte, NC office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a sophisticated trusts and estates practice that serves high-net-worth individuals and families, alongside a collaborative and well-resourced team.
The attorney will play a key role in advising clients on comprehensive estate planning matters and estate and trust administration. The firm is open to a range of trusts and estates backgrounds and is primarily focused on finding someone with strong fundamentals, sound judgment, and a client-focused mindset.
Responsibilities- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments
- Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies and estate planning considerations for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Handle estate and trust administration matters, including post-death planning and fiduciary guidance
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals across the firm on complex estate matters
- Maintain direct client relationships and provide thoughtful, high-quality legal counsel
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts and estates, estate/trust administration, or a closely related practice area
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients is a plus, but not required
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (or ability to become licensed)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-centric approach
