A well-established law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in the Charlotte area. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to work closely with a team of transactional attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and legal support.
- Prepare, format, and revise legal documents using Microsoft Word for styles and redlining and Adobe Acrobat.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate communications using Microsoft Outlook.
- Assist with document management, filing, and organization of transactional materials.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Deliver customer service to internal and external clients.
- Minimum of 3+ years of law firm experience.
- Transactional experience is required.
- Real Estate Finance experience is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple detailed tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.
- Candidates without CRE experience may be considered if they have recent transactional experience in a large firm.
