Overview

A dynamic regional law firm is hiring a Remote Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney to own high-volume title review work with accuracy and consistency. This role requires an experienced attorney with a solid foundation in real estate law and title review. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and addressing title issues efficiently. Attention to detail and strong time management skills are essential, as the position demands accuracy and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Complete a thorough title review of each assigned title search.
  • Examine all legal documents to ensure compliance with state laws.
  • Address title curative matters and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prepare preliminary and final title opinion statements.
  • Handle a high volume of transactions while delivering top-notch service.
  • Occasionally serve as a backup for closings when needed.
  • Answer questions related to closings from other attorneys.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of real estate law experience.
  • Title review experience; must be currently or previously approved by multiple title insurance companies.
  • Experience building client relationships.
  • Familiarity with necessary documents.
  • JD from an ABA accredited Law School.
  • NC bar license required; SC or GA licensure preferred.
  • Current appointment as an NC Notary Public or ability to obtain it before starting employment.
