A leading national law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate or Counsel to join its expanding Corporate Practice Group in the Charlotte office. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with sophisticated clients across a variety of industries, supporting commercial contracting, corporate governance, and transactional matters.

The firm advises both public and private companies and offers meaningful hands‑on experience, client exposure, and collaboration with seasoned attorneys from day one.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supply, purchase, service, and transportation contracts

• Provide business-focused legal guidance on corporate and commercial matters.

Support a variety of corporate transactions and commercial projects with senior attorney oversight.

Work closely with clients and internal teams to solve complex business challenges and advance strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate transactional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand client operations and goals.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive, curious mindset with the ability to ask questions and learn quickly.

Team-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

M&A experience preferred but not required.
