Cyber Security Analyst

I'm seeking a motivated Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join a growing Security Operations Center (SOC) team supporting clients across North Carolina. As part of a 24/7 Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) environment, you will monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts while gaining hands‑on experience with enterprise security tools and real‑world incident response.

• Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, and other security platforms
• Escalate validated incidents and assist with incident response activities
• Document findings, investigations, and remediation steps clearly and accurately
• Participate in 24/7 shift rotations (including nights/weekends as scheduled)
• Foundational knowledge of networking, security principles, and threat detection
• Experience with tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, or ticketing systems preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Security+ or other entry‑level certification preferred

This opportunity is available on a contract‑to‑hire basis and will require some on‑site availability.
