Are you someone with a passion for data, analytics, insights, and technology? Do you want to be part of a team lighting up actionable insights to help the organization make business decisions? Lenovo's Strategy Sales Enablement team is looking for a passionate, creative, analytical strategy intern who loves big data, is curious to explore and unveil insights, and wants to create a business story to impact key business decisions.
RoleOur team plays a key role in driving the transformation of our North America sales organization to empower Lenovo to be the technology partner of choice. We deliver clear strategic guidance, insights, enablement and partnerships to optimize productivity and achieve our long-term objectives. Our team owns the end to end insights strategy that includes:
- Assist with the account segmentation logic, analysis, and hygiene
- collaborating with sales leaders to optimize measurements and ensure accuracy of the data
- Analyze market forecasts across business units to provide competitive insights into share position changes
- collaborating with our strategy directors to bring the relevant data into a central repository to create the single version of truth to monitor market dynamics
- Conduct market research, evaluate industry trends, analyze competitor strategies
- Update market models forecasts across our PC and Infrastructure business units
- Analysis of market position by customer segmentation (Global Account, Corporate, Public Sector, and SMB)
- Assist in the creation and deployment of new account segmentation logic
- Drive accuracy and compliance of new account creation controls
- Analysis of account coverage strategy and deployment of OpEx resources
- Create dashboards, presentations, and reports to summarize findings
- College Senior pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics or related fields
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with data analytical tools (Google Analytics, SQL, or CRM systems is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency with data modeling data visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to source data across a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
- Demonstrated business acumen sound judgement
