Max Pay Rate: $69/hr
Seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions while improving team performance and Agile maturity.
This role will lead Agile ceremonies, coach teams and product partners, manage delivery risks, and ensure alignment with enterprise Agile practices. The Scrum Master will focus on improving team flow, predictability, and delivery outcomes while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities – Agile Leadership- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Guide Agile teams toward predictable delivery and improved performance
- Ensure stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) standards
- Coach Product Owners, engineers, and team members on Agile practices
- Develop coaching plans to improve team maturity and delivery metrics
- Provide targeted coaching to improve workflow, delivery quality, and team alignment
- Maintain strong understanding of team backlog and priorities
- Manage scope, dependencies, and unplanned work to protect sprint commitments
- Ensure effective work breakdown and clear acceptance criteria for user stories
- Identify impediments within 24 hours and maintain an impediment backlog in Jira
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage cross-team dependencies
- Surface risks early and drive resolution with appropriate teams
- Use Agile metrics such as cycle time, throughput, WIP, and rollover to improve team performance
- Create Jira dashboards and automation to track delivery trends
- Drive improvements through retrospectives and continuous feedback
- 4+ years of Scrum Master or Agile experience
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and team collaboration
- Proficiency with Jira for backlog tracking and reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience improving Agile team maturity and delivery metrics
- Experience managing cross-team dependencies in enterprise environments
- Training in influence-based leadership or Agile coaching
