Data Analyst, Business Systems/ Tech Analyst
Location: On-site – 8333 Forrest Point Blvd, Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr on W2
OverviewWe are seeking three Data Analysts to join a growing Analytics of Communication team supporting Spectrum customer communications. This team is focused on evaluating the effectiveness, timing, and customer experience of outbound communications to ensure the right message is delivered in the right way at the right time.
This is a high-impact opportunity to help build a more robust reporting and analytics framework, transforming data into meaningful insights and executive-ready storytelling.
About the TeamThe organization supports two key functions:
- Ad Hoc Communications: Customer-facing communications outside standard touchpoints (e.g., service delays, equipment issues, unexpected repair incidents).
- Analytics of Communication: Analyzing all outbound communications to determine effectiveness, customer experience quality, timing, and overall impact.
The Data Analysts will sit within the Analytics team and play a critical role in enhancing reporting capabilities and delivering actionable insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze large datasets to evaluate customer communication effectiveness and experience
- Develop and enhance reporting frameworks to move from monthly refreshes to more frequent (daily) data updates
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within customer communication touchpoints
- Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings clearly
- Support analysis around communication cadence (e.g., high-volume communication scenarios such as accounts receiving 30+ messages within a repair cycle)
- Partner cross-functionally to improve data quality and reporting infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role
- Advanced Tableau experience (dashboard creation and data visualization)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong storytelling ability — able to present insights clearly and confidently to leadership
- Experience working with large datasets and improving reporting processes
- Thrives in a build-and-enhance environment
- Comfortable working with evolving data infrastructure
- Naturally curious and proactive in identifying insights
- Strong communicator who can bridge technical findings to business impact
- Experience analyzing customer experience or communication data is a plus
