Project Management IT Intern

Summary

Our company is searching for candidates for the position of Project Management Office Intern. This is a technical-focused role designed for individuals pursuing a degree who are eager to learn and take on challenges within a professional project management environment.

• Develop and maintain project management documentation and artifacts.
• Support efforts to improve the efficiency of project estimates and task breakdowns.
• Generate ideas for improving internal processes, documentation, and communications.
• Interview project stakeholders and document requirements for new projects.
• Manage at least one minor effort project from initiation to closure.
• Utilize collaboration tools to support project delivery.

• General knowledge of software development processes and delivery.
• Competency with Web technologies and collaboration tools.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Workfront is a plus.
• Shows a positive attitude to learn and take on challenges.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Project Management experience or certifications is a plus.
• Ability to interview stakeholders and translate needs into documented requirements.

Must be able to look at computer monitors for extended periods; use of hands/fingers for typing.

Traditional office environment with a focus on team collaboration.
