Job Summary

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an E-Commerce & Inventory Operations Specialist for a company based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a key part in a growing national firearms parts distributor, combining e-commerce management, inventory control, and logistics coordination in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay Rate

$17.00–$20.00 per hour (higher pay considered based on experience)

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required during peak seasons.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the company website, including product updates and content edits.
  • Assist with online sales platforms such as Gun Broker, eBay, and Amazon, ensuring accurate listings and timely order processing.
  • Process purchasing orders and receive incoming inventory, verifying accuracy and maintaining organized records.
  • Research and select the most cost-effective shipping methods for outgoing packages.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Develop and edit basic HTML content as needed for website updates.
  • Stay informed on AR-15, AR-10, and Glock platforms, including product specifications, applications, and industry advancements.
  • Monitor competitor products, new technologies, and market trends within the industry.
  • Cross-train in other departments to support overall operations as needed.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Basic HTML knowledge or the ability to quickly learn.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
