At Regions, the Infrastructure Architect will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud and on-premises architecture, networking, virtualization, and automation, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technology goals.

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to ensure infrastructure supports application needs and complies with security policies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, standards, and procedures.
• Lead infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Power Shell.
• Lead development, communication, and maintenance of infrastructure roadmaps.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards for infrastructure systems.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve infrastructure capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and seven (7) years of experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles.
• High School Diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, Cisco, VMware).
• Additional skills and competencies listed in original description (AWS cloud architecture, Amazon Connect, infrastructure as code, security governance).
