Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced MAC admin to manage and maintain MacOS servers in a data‑center environment, ensuring compliance with security controls and organizational standards. The role involves hands‑on administration, patching, and automation of software and security updates using scripting tools. Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
Primary SkillMacOS and iOS
Role Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with the Mac Support Team to implement server management plans, resolve network identification and IP conflicts, and oversee DHCP and server IP configuration.
- Ensure servers operate securely and efficiently through expertise in managed OS environments, software packaging, and installation.
- Manage Mac Server administration tasks and maintain servers up to date in compliance with Security Controls and Compliance.
- Hands‑on management of MacOS Servers and their patching schedules in a Data Center Environment.
- Collaborate with the Mac Support Team to understand Server Management plans in a DC.
- Ensure servers run required security software and operating system updates.
- Solid understanding of Server Administration concepts.
- Familiarity with MacOS Server scripting and automation of software patch installations and security software updates.
- Knowledge of DHCP, Server IP Configuration, and ability to resolve Network Identification/IP conflicts.
- Knowledge of managed OS and software packaging and installation.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Proven experience as a Server Administrator.
- Proficiency in server configuration and scripting.
- Knowledge of Workspace One, Tanium, JAMF, and other server access and security profile configuration software.
- Extensive experience with MacOS Servers.
- Knowledge of server virtualization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. The workplace is a hybrid position.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 – $65.00/hr.
