Technical Project Manager

Job Location:

Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to own and elevate portfolio-level risk management across multiple programs and strategic initiatives.

This role requires a strong blend of technical depth
, structured risk methodologies (especially FMEA – Failure Modes & Effects Analysis
), and executive communication. You will design and operationalize a scalable portfolio risk framework, proactively identifying, quantifying, and mitigating risks that impact delivery, reliability, security, and business outcomes.

You will serve as the connective tissue between engineering, product, delivery, security, and executive stakeholders—translating technical risk into clear business decisions.

• 10+ years managing complex technical programs in:
• Software engineering
• Platforms
• Data/AI
• Cloud-native environments
• Hands‑on experience leading or facilitating FMEA or structured risk methodologies
• Strong understanding of:
• Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud-native architectures
• APIs and distributed systems
• Ability to synthesize technical risk into executive‑level narratives with clear decision points
• Strong facilitation skills (root cause analysis, workshops, conflict resolution)
• Experience operating in regulated environments (e.g., financial services)
• Experience partnering with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams
