We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with over 8 years of domain expertise. The ideal candidate will possess very strong skills in XML Schema development, infrastructure support, and log analysis. Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple integration teams, along with experience in change management, networking, and basic database concepts, are essential to succeed in this role.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role Responsibilities- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop, validate, and troubleshoot XML Schemas (XSD) for seamless data exchange and integration.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple integration teams, providing timely updates and ensuring smooth communication.
- Conduct log analysis and debugging to identify and resolve infrastructure‑related issues.
- Manage and document changes using Service Now, ensuring proper change management and compliance.
- Perform regular infrastructure health checks, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues.
- Support networking messaging systems and data transmission protocols, ensuring secure and reliable data flow.
- Maintain a good understanding of databases and execute basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and support tasks.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation efforts and support deployment activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configuration, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, support, or related roles.
- Very strong experience in XML Schema (XSD) development, validation, and integration.
- Hands‑on experience with log analysis and debugging tools.
- Proven experience with Service Now change management and documentation.
- Good understanding of network messaging systems and data transmission protocols.
- Strong infrastructure support background, with problem‑solving skills.
- Basic SQL skills and understanding of relational database concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross‑team stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
- Certifications in cloud platforms, networking, or XML technologies.
- Familiarity with automation, orchestration, and configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware.
