About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Vulnerability Scanning Engineer to drive our enterprise vulnerability management initiatives. In this role, you will take ownership of large-scale security scanning efforts, lead deployment planning, and help evolve our cloud and IoT/OT security capabilities.

This is a hands-on lead position, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running-bringing deep technical expertise, strong execution skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability scanning initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, and IoT/OT environments.
• Own deployment planning, technical decision-making, and execution for major security scanning projects.
• Support and enhance current enterprise vulnerability management capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and product teams within an Agile delivery framework.
• Utilize Jira to manage work, track progress, and coordinate across teams.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging security tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management or security engineering.
• Strong experience with enterprise-scale vulnerability scanning.
• Hands-on expertise with tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of CVE, CWE, and CVSS frameworks.
• Experience using Jira within an Agile environment.
• Proficiency working with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and SaaS-based technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scanning IoT/OT devices (highly preferred).
• Coding or scripting skills (e.g., Python, API automation, Bash, Power Shell).
• Familiarity with modern cloud-native security tools and Dev Sec Ops  practices.
