We are seeking an SDR Manager (Sales Development Representative Manager) for a Charlotte-based growth-stage technology platform company. This role will lead and build an outbound-focused sales development team responsible for generating pipeline for the Enterprise Account Executive group.
This is not a passive management role. We are looking for someone who understands outbound, can energize a team in person, and can build structure while keeping intensity high.
What You’ll Do- Lead and manage an outbound SDR/BDR team based in Charlotte
- Drive daily activity across cold calling, Linked In outreach, email, and video messaging
- Coach team members on booking qualified meetings for the Enterprise AE team
- Help define target accounts, personas, and messaging alongside sales leadership
- Leverage AI tools to increase outbound efficiency, including building AI-driven BDR workflows, and develop tailored messaging for specific verticals
- Maintain accountability around activity metrics and meeting quotas
- Hire and scale the team as growth continues
- Build a strong in-office culture centered around energy, resilience, and consistency
- Experience leading outbound SDR/BDR teams in a B2B environment
- Comfortable in high-activity, cold outreach environments
- Able to motivate teams through rejection-heavy workflows
- Strong understanding of outbound strategy and meeting-based quotas
- Operates independently and does not require heavy day-to-day oversight
- Balanced leader who pushes for performance without burning out the team
- SaaS or recurring-revenue technology sales environments
- Experience booking meetings for mid-market or enterprise AEs
- Teams supporting deal sizes in the $30K–$200K range preferred
- Prior individual contributor outbound experience before moving into leadership is highly valued
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years in SaaS or B2B technology sales environments
- Prior experience as an SDR/BDR or leading an outbound SDR/BDR team
- Proven success managing activity-based teams with meeting-set quotas
- Strong understanding of outbound prospecting strategy and pipeline generation
- Experience coaching cold calling, Linked In outreach, and email cadence execution
- Comfortable operating in a high-energy, in-office sales environment
- CRM proficiency and data-driven performance management
- Strong communication, coaching, and accountability skills
