We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Administrator to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in networking, system administration, and cloud technologies, coupled with a solid understanding of enterprise security tools. As a Cloud Administrator, you will play a key role in deploying, managing, and maintaining cloud-based and on-premises systems to ensure security, scalability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support enterprise applications.
- Administer and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement and support enterprise security tools to protect cloud and on-premises environments.
- Manage networking infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
- Perform system administration tasks such as patching, backups, and troubleshooting on Windows and Linux servers.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and proactively resolve issues.
- Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for internal knowledge sharing.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud administration, networking, or system administration.
- Expertise in configuring and managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles, including routing, switching, DNS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise security tools (e.g., endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, or SIEMs).
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Shell, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher)
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator Associate - CompTIA Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to comply with federal security regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience working with enterprise-level environments and adhering to security compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or FedRAMP.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments or multi-cloud strategies.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles.
