About the Role

In this contingent assignment, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale, complex software engineering initiatives with a focus on Service Now development. You will consult on strategic programs, analyze technical challenges, and help guide long-term platform solutions. This role requires deep experience across the Service Now ecosystem, strong engineering judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
What You'll Do

• Lead and consult on complex engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
• Review, assess, and design solutions for multi-faceted Service Now and software engineering challenges.
• Evaluate diverse factors-including technical constraints, business requirements, and ambiguous or unprecedented scenarios-to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Apply strong knowledge of engineering policies, compliance standards, and best practices to meet delivery objectives.
• Partner closely with internal client teams, offering strategic guidance and expertise on platform architecture and implementation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development or engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on Service Now development experience.
• Must be located in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.
• Certified Service Now Application Developer (CAD).
• Certified Service Now System Administrator (CSA).
• Experience delivering solutions within Financial Services environments.
• Strong background with IT Service Management (ITSM) implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMDB design, maintenance, and Service Now CMDB integrations.
• Background in Change Management processes and tooling.

Minimum Education / Equivalent Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through a combination of work history, consulting experience, technical training, military service, or education.
