Network​/Systems Engineer, Linux, Windows, Python; CLT

10 is currently seeking a Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Design, build, automate, and operate next-generation solutions for Innovation Labs
• Deliver Lab-as-a-Service offerings to internal customers across the enterprise
• Support proof‑of‑concept and technology certification initiatives
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams to accelerate innovation

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Communications, or Computer Science
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching protocols (MPLS, BGP, EIGRP).
• Deep understanding of LAN/WAN, compute, storage, Linux, Windows, and Python scripting
• Hands‑on experience with Linux, Windows, Active Directory, and VMware ESXi
• Proven ability to configure and support complex, multi‑layered network environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Visual Basic
• Familiarity with configuration management systems (e.g., Ansible, Ansible Tower)
• Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills
• Highly motivated, self‑directed, and able to work independently or within distributed global teams
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in high‑pressure environments
• Quick learner with adaptability to emerging technologies and willingness to train others
• Expertise in network technologies, including switching, routing, application delivery, firewalling, proxy, DNS, time services, SDN, and overlay networking
• Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and network function virtualization (NFV)
• Proficiency in Python programming, application development, and collaboration with highly technical engineering teams
• Strong understanding of client‑server architecture, virtualization, containers, and private/public cloud environments
• CCNP, CCDP, CCIE
• VCP, VCAP, VCDP

• Familiarity with network traffic generation tools and lab automation tools

$60.24 - $68.24
