The Senior Database Engineer is responsible for enterprise SQL engineering, DBT transformation integrity, and Postgre

SQL performance optimization. This role serves as the primary authority on schema design, indexing strategies, and large-scale data operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years enterprise SQL engineering experience
• Deep Postgre
  
  SQL expertise
• DBT transformation experience
• Advanced query tuning and performance diagnostics
• Experience in financial or regulated environments
• Prior Level 2/3 SQL Support in large environments desired

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead Postgre
  
  SQL architecture and performance optimization
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries supporting APIs and DBT models
• Analyze execution plans and tune high-volume workloads
• Implement indexing and partitioning strategies
• Conduct database health assessments and capacity planning
• Develop SQL investigation playbooks for L2 escalations
