We are seeking a strong Python Developer to join the Enterprise Security Application Support & Delivery team, primarily supporting a Critical Infrastructure Data Hub project. This role is heavily focused on Python development, API integration, and strong SQL expertise, with an emphasis on compliance, secure development standards, and enterprise data integration. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and building complex software solutions, working with APIs (preferably Fortra Tripwire API), and connecting disparate enterprise systems within a secure and regulated environment.

• Design and build complex Python-based software solutions
• Work extensively with SQL (strong understanding of data structures required)
• Develop and integrate APIs (Fortra Tripwire API experience is a strong plus)
• Utilize Kafka for scripting and data streaming
• Convert complex business requirements into user stories and technical solutions
• Provide work estimates and break down large initiatives into manageable components
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and IT security standards
• Support testing, code migration, and production deployment activities
• Lead design discussions and code walk-throughs
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Transfer technical knowledge to support teams

• Strong Python development experience
• Advanced SQL knowledge (data structures focus)
• API integration experience (Fortra Tripwire API highly preferred)
• Experience with Kafka
• Datamart / Data warehouse experience
• Experience connecting disparate enterprise systems
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory environments
• Strong grasp of software development lifecycle and secure coding practices

• Experience with Flink
• Power BI reporting exposure
• SSI packages experience
• Qlik
