Remote (USA only);
onsite in Buffalo, NY strongly preferred or Pittsburgh, PA

18 months ( 3,128 hours per role
; 40 hrs/week, 8 hrs/day)

Overview

Serve as the testing and conversion lead across three concurrent migrations. Own SIT, UAT, and End-to-End testing; coordinate dress rehearsals and go-live conversions
; run command-center/war-room calls to keep execution on track. Role requires a strong grasp of functional and non-functional testing
, data reconciliation, and integrated system flows (
APIs, file transfers, batch
).
Banking/Financial Services experience is preferred, but strong candidates from other industries will be considered.

Program Context (Expere / Collate / AFS)
  • Wolters Kluwer Expere document solution (smallest workstream).
  • Broadridge Collate collateral management (mid-size workstream).
  • AFS loan accounting
    upgrade from AFS Level III to AFSVision (primary workstream).

The BSA V team will drive testing and conversion readiness across all three, with a heavy emphasis on the AFS Level III AFSVision upgrade.

Role Split (2 openings)
  • Technical BSA SIT Lead: Deeper technical focus; leads SIT
    , batch/API/file validations, environment readiness, tool usage, and defect SLAs across platforms.
  • Functional BSA UAT Lead: Business-facing; leads UAT
    , test planning/execution with SMEs, acceptance criteria, and sign-off governance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Test leadership & governance: Plan/run SIT, UAT, E2E
    ; define entry/exit criteria; manage defect triage
    , metrics, and executive status.
  • Command center orchestration: Lead bridge/war-room calls for rapid triage, escalation, and resolution during testing, dress rehearsals, and go-live.
  • Requirements & traceability: Elicit/document business/functional requirements
    , data mappings, and end-to-end traceability.
  • Test assets & execution: Write test plans and scripts/cases (incl.
    non-functional and factory/office re-testing
    ); coordinate testers; ensure audit-ready evidence.
  • Integration scope: Understand system architecture
    , APIs
    , file transfers
    , and batch scheduling/testing
    ; validate interface contracts and error handling.
  • Data reconciliation: Ensure balances and controls match across systems after batch/file/API runs and at conversion cutover/closeout.
  • Quality & compliance: Monitor scope/change; adhere to corporate standards, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations.
  • Post-implementation: Capture lessons learned; finalize debrief (timeline/financials vs. plan); close defects and documentation.
  • Mentorship: Coach junior analysts; facilitate meetings; document minutes, decisions, and actions.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.
  • Proven leadership in SIT/UAT/E2E test management and conversion coordination on financial or similarly complex enterprise programs.
  • Ability to write business requirements and test scripts/cases; strong defect management/reporting.
  • Jira required;
    Zephyr (test management on Jira)
    strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with common project/test toolsets (e.g., ADO/Jira, Excel, SharePoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Experience with AFS Level III and/or AFSVision
    , Broadridge Collate
    , and Wolters Kluwer Expere
    .
  • Background in document management migrations
    , collateral platforms, and large-scale conversions.
  • Strong grasp of data mapping
    , reconciliations, GL impacts, and integrated application ecosystems.
  • Comfortable leading war-rooms
    , factory/office re-testing
    , and non-functional/performance scenarios.
  • Industry:
    Banking/Financial Services preferred; open to strong candidates from other industries with demonstrable testing/conversion leadership.
Notes from Client

This is a contract engagement within the Expere / Collate / AFS Level III AFSVision program. Preference is for candidates who can support Buffalo-based stakeholders (with Pittsburgh as a secondary hub), though Remote (USA only) is acceptable for the right profiles especially if they can lead SIT (technical BSA) or UAT (functional BSA) effectively across distributed teams.
