Data Management Analyst (Risk and Control) (contract)
Location:
Charlotte, NC
Duration: 9 months (contract)
Engagement: W2 Contractor (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Data Management - Contingent Resource:
Covers jobs that drive oversight, governance, and management of critical data to support business needs, initiatives, and strategies. Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to set standards, policies, and practices for data flow, data framework, data access, documentation, quality, and remediation.
- Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management.
- Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long‑term, large‑scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
- Provide expertise to senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions.
- Strategically engage with personnel.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in finance data management risk oversight and policy compliance, focusing on general ledger and regulatory reporting systems.
- Perform advanced metadata analysis, execute and enhance data management controls, and lead complex analyses to identify and remediate data quality, integrity, process, and control gaps.
- Advise leadership on strategy for highly complex business and technical needs.
- Collaborate across the enterprise to design and execute remediation solutions and inform long‑term data strategy.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
- 7+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management.
- Deep knowledge of data risk and controls within the enterprise finance domain and strong metadata experience.
- Experience with Data Quality, Regulatory Compliance, and Risk and Controls.
