Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer/Data Analyst with Hadoop for Contract (W2) with a client in Charlotte, NC - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week). Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Data Engineering, Data analysis, ER diagrams, normalization, relational schema, data integrity, data mapping, data validation, and data transformation.

Pay Range: $60 -$65/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Need a seasoned contractor to help assist in the creation of a complex data model that would help the team track infrastructure deployment and changes. The datasets are large, complex and time sensitive. Will exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Acts as a subject matter expert in multiple database management platforms.
Responsibilities- Proficient at data analysis, identifying the backend sources and data mapping.
- Expert at architecting, designing and writing RESTful services.

SQL Databases, Cloud Services, Version Control, ETL Processes, Data Warehousing, API Integration. - Python, Java, Scala for SQL, ER diagrams, normalization, relational schema, data integrity, data mapping, data validation, and data transformation.
- Experienced with various DBMS like MySQL, Postgre
SQL, and No
SQL databases. Proficiency with SQL/No
SQL DBs, Database Design, Data Modeling, Normalization, Performance Tuning, Data Security, Backup and Recovery, and Transaction Management. Experience with various Hadoop and Teradata.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of direct relevant experience.
- Significant experience with Data Lineage.
- Strong background in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, ER diagrams, normalization, relational schema, data integrity, data mapping, data validation, and data transformation.
- Proficiency in MySQL, Postgre
SQL, No
SQL databases, ETL Processes, Data Warehousing, API Integration. - Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, and various cloud services.
