Application Security Analyst

Remote Must-Have Skills / Prior Experience

• Hands-on experience with API security testing and vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of DAST tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes, image scanning tools such as Anchore or Trivy).
• Proven experience managing security intake processes and coordinating across multiple development teams.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and API-specific security risks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt.

• Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud-native security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API gateways.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Exposure to Dev Sec Ops  practices and security automation.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GWAPT, or API Security Specialist.
