Location:

Charlotte, NC (Onsite work 5 days in a week)

Role

We are looking for a Tech Project Manager with experience within the banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing strategic initiatives aimed at driving organizational change, optimizing processes, and enhancing customer experience. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the banking industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects and change initiatives within the banking domain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, to ensure successful delivery of projects and change management strategy to facilitate smooth transitions
  • Collaborate with senior management to define program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation plans.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the organization to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Organize and lead stakeholder workshops and meetings to communicate program objectives, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Create and execute communication plans to inform stakeholders of changes, updates, and expectations.
  • Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new processes and systems.
  • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track program performance and change adoption.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on program status, challenges, and achievements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and best practices within banking operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
Requirements
  • Over 5+ years of experience in project management in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion, including experience with cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools.
  • In-depth understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CMC) is highly desirable.
Salary & Benefits
  • Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr. This range is provided by Synechron; actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
