Software Developer (SQL)

We’re hiring a hands-on developer to support finance teams. This is a business-facing role focused on analytics, reporting, and production support, with real exposure to the investment lifecycle.

The role is roughly 60% development / 40% stakeholder engagement, ideal for someone strong in SQL who enjoys working closely with front-office partners to solve practical problems.

What you’ll do

• Build and support analytics and reporting solutions using SQL (on-prem & Databricks) and Power BI

• Partner directly with front-office and business stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate insights

• Troubleshoot production issues and support BAU reporting

• Enhance data extracts, automation, and internal reporting platforms

• Learn the business and embed yourself in day-to-day decision making

What we’re looking for

• Strong SQL fundamentals (required) with stored procedures and views

• Experience in a business-facing development or analytics role

• Power BI experience preferred;
  Databricks a plus, not required

• Clear communicator with curiosity and drive to learn the business

Environment

• SQL Server, Databricks, Power BI, Excel; occasional .NET/Core

• Hybrid 3 days/week in office (Charlotte-based team)

• On-call incidents are rare
