Contract Duration: 18 Months with possible extension or FTE conversion
Location:
Charlotte NC hybrid(3 days onsite day one)
Working hours are staggered with other Travel Risk Specialists to ensure adequate coverage.
Responsibilities- Review travel requests and itineraries to elevated risk destinations to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
- Contact travelers and/or delegates if documents or contents are missing or noncompliant with travel policies.
- Monitor the Global Travel Risk mailbox and respond to all inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Utilize third-party risk platforms to monitor for incidents that could impact client business travelers globally; follow established protocols to communicate with travelers and report status to key stakeholders and incident management teams.
- Efficiently and diligently document all actions taken in accordance with established procedures.
- Support crisis management operations during major incidents as required, which may include working outside of normal business hours.
- Compile and disseminate Travel Risk Advisories as needed.
- Provide travel risk support for major company events as required.
- Fulfill responsibilities related to the maintenance and publication of country risk ratings and hotel security assessments.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, including working closely with Global Intelligence specialists to facilitate information sharing, identify and understand travel requirements, and document regional travel risks and posture.
- 5+ years of experience in the intelligence/crime/threat analysis field, such as with a federal, state, or local law enforcement entity, or a private sector intelligence team
- The need is for an intelligence analyst who can apply judgement to travel risk
- Security intelligence is more important than solely travel risk, that is the focus
- The primary skill requested is ability to gather and evaluate intelligence
- Past candidates may have come from small shops taking security calls and handling, this won’t be ideal but still respected experience
- Candidates had travel risk experience but not strong enough in explaining intelligence gathering and evaluation of that intel
- Proven experience as an intelligence analyst in public or private sectors; adept at applying analytic techniques and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative security and threat data
- Skilled in global threat intelligence and assessments supporting domestic and international security operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experienced in tailoring presentations for varied audiences
- Familiarity with risk intelligence platforms and databases (e.g., Ontic, Dataminr, World Aware, Sibylline, Intelligence Fusion)
