Virtual Directory Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Virtual Directory Engineer to join their team. As a Virtual Directory Engineer, you will be part of the Information Security Engineering department supporting the Virtual Directory Solutions team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Virtual Directory Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range:

• Implement and enhance virtual directory solutions, including caching and proxying data from identity silos.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support Radiant Logic VDS and Oracle Unified Directory environments.
• Respond to customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support via email, phone, and incident management systems.
• Monitor system alerts, analyze security challenges, and contribute to documentation updates.
• Participate in data migration efforts and support ongoing security initiatives within the organization.

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Security Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with Radiant One FID, Virtual Directory Technology, LDAP, and Power Shell scripting.
• Experience supporting Radiant Logic VDS and Oracle Unified Directory.
• Strong understanding of virtual directory concepts such as virtual vs. persistent views, data aggregation, and attribute transforms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to ask insightful questions to understand customer needs.
