Data and analytics play a pivotal role in Credit Karma’s mission and every part of our business – informing new product design, driving marketing efficiency, and powering the recommendations we personalize to each of our over 130 million members.
We’re seeking a driven, results-oriented, problem solver to join the Partnerships Analytics team supporting our Home (Mortgage) business. In this role, you will use your analytical and strategic experience to create data-driven business recommendations that drive key product and marketing decisions or deepen relations with our partners (startup fintechs to the largest financial institutions in the world). This role has high visibility and will contribute meaningfully to Credit Karma’s growth in delivering value for our members and partners.
Whatyou’ll do
- Leverage internal and external data to develop business recommendations that generate value for Credit Karma and our partners
- Perform exploratory analysis to generate hypotheses, identify gaps, and size opportunities for new features or partner strategies
- Develop learning agendas and test plans to support agile, data-driven decision-making
- Own analytics for partner performance management, including preparation for Executive Business Reviews and partner meetings
- Conduct analyses and design tests to support new launches, drive improvements to existing features, and inform the product and marketing roadmaps
- Partner with engineering and business intelligence to ensure proper tracking instrumentation of new products and tests
- Unlike some analytics functions, you are not a service provider. You’re a thought leader to the business, owning end-to-end analytic work streams, defining success and performance metrics, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations for cross functional groups and partners
- 4+ years of analytics experience and BS/MS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, or Finance
- 2+ years of experience with SQL
- 2+ years of experience with A/B testing and/or statistical analysis
- 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Looker/Tableau for insight synthesis and presentation
- Fintech, financial services, mortgage/ home lending, consulting or a similar strategic or analytical experience
- Exposure to Python and/or R
- Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly, succinctly and confidently in verbal and written communications
- Strong problem-solver able to identify opportunities for growth or improvement to advance the goals of our both our partners and our business
- Ability to independently thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
- Ability to work cross functionally and assert influence internally/externally
