Senior Scrum Master (Onsite & Contract)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in-office)
Contract Length: Through end of year (~10 months) with potential extension
Start: Late February
Seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a technology team in a global, fast‑paced environment. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who can quickly ramp up, operate independently, and confidently guide Agile delivery.
Responsibilities- Own and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
- Manage and refine the backlog in Azure Dev Ops
- Ensure tickets, documentation, and status updates are current
- Coordinate priorities and dependencies across cross‑functional teams
- Track and report velocity, burndown, and capacity
- Support resource planning with data‑driven insights
- Act as the Agile expert and push back when needed
- Agile/Scrum with 2‑week sprints
- Azure Dev Ops (Microsoft environment);
Jira experience a plus - Core team of ~5 with collaboration across global teams (US, UK, India; expanding)
- Portfolio of SaaS and some on‑prem applications
- Senior‑level Scrum Master experience. 5+ yrs in enterprise role.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through
- Self‑starter comfortable working independently
- Collaborative, confident, and pragmatic approach
