Senior Scrum Master (Onsite & Contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in-office)
Contract Length: Through end of year (~10 months) with potential extension
Start: Late February

Seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a technology team in a global, fast‑paced environment. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who can quickly ramp up, operate independently, and confidently guide Agile delivery.

• Own and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
• Manage and refine the backlog in Azure Dev Ops
• Ensure tickets, documentation, and status updates are current
• Coordinate priorities and dependencies across cross‑functional teams
• Track and report velocity, burndown, and capacity
• Support resource planning with data‑driven insights
• Act as the Agile expert and push back when needed

• Agile/Scrum with 2‑week sprints
• Azure Dev Ops (Microsoft environment);
  Jira experience a plus
• Core team of ~5 with collaboration across global teams (US, UK, India; expanding)
• Portfolio of SaaS and some on‑prem applications

• Senior‑level Scrum Master experience. 5+ yrs in enterprise role.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through
• Self‑starter comfortable working independently
• Collaborative, confident, and pragmatic approach
