Wayfinding Designer – Artwork Specialist

Helping the world find its way to this large Global Sporting Event is no small task — and that’s exactly where you come in. This is a chance to play a hands-on role in one of the biggest events on the planet, transforming strategy into sharp, production-ready design.

Role Overview:

• Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in Charlotte office)
• Package: Competitive salary + benefits

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Rolling out high-quality artwork across way finding signage, aligned with global brand guidelines.
• Translating complex messaging data into clear, consistent signage for a wide range of venues and audiences.
• Using automation tools to streamline production and reduce manual error.
• Managing assets with meticulous attention to version control, file naming, and delivery tracking.
• Collaborating with planners to align messaging, layouts, and delivery timelines.
• Flagging potential issues early and helping to solve them with a proactive mindset.
• Supporting quality checks to ensure compliance with artwork specs and print standards.
• Assisting with visual assets for internal decks, reports, and manuals when needed.

Main Skills Needed:

• Expert-level Adobe Illustrator and InDesign skills — styles, layers, master pages, and precise formatting.
• Strong design-for-production know-how, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Organised, methodical, and comfortable managing high volumes of artwork.
• Great communicator who thrives in collaborative environments.
• Bonus: experience in way finding, signage systems, or event branding.
• Bonus: familiarity with tools like Sign Agent, Quest, or automation/scripting platforms.
