QA Lead, IT​/Tech, IT QA Tester ​/ Automation

Job Description

8 years of total QA experience with a strong focus on functional automation testing.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in leading QA activities including test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Proven experience in functional test automation, with a focus on designing robust test strategies and frameworks.
• Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, Octane or similar.
• Strong QA automation experience (using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber framework).
• Understanding of self‑healing test automation techniques.
• Test planning & strategy.
• Defect management & root cause analysis.
• Agile testing methodology.
• Automation frameworks:
  Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
• Basic understanding of AI‑driven quality assurance approaches.
• Methodical and systematic approach to testing.
• Experience with REST API automation tools such as Rest Assured or Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub Actions.
• Test management tools: JIRA, Test Rail, Octane.
• Version control:
  Git, Bitbucket.
• CI/CD integration:
  Jenkins, AWS Dev Ops (basic understanding preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner).
• Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured).
• Understanding of Dev Ops and QAOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for test environments.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Telecom projects is a strong plus.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
