A Sigma developer with a data engineering background builds data pipelines, models, and architectures, typically leveraging cloud platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, to power analytics and business intelligence within the Sigma Computing ecosystem. Key skills include proficiency in SQL and Python, experience with dbt, and a strong understanding of data warehousing and ELT/ETL processes. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights by designing scalable data solutions and ensuring data quality.
Responsibilities- Design and build data pipelines, models, and architectures within the Sigma Computing ecosystem.
- Leverage cloud platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks to power analytics and BI solutions.
- Implement ELT/ETL processes and maintain data quality and governance.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with dbt.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
