Position

Summary

Director of Data & Analytics We are seeking a strategic leader to build and scale our Data & Analytics function. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives on transforming raw data into actionable intelligence, driving governance standards, and enabling business decisions through advanced analytics. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to define our data strategy and ensure robust, secure, and compliant practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scaling Systems:
    Develop the infrastructure for a scalable data warehouse to serve as the foundation of all Courser’s data & analytics business solutions.
  • Actionable Business Intelligence:
    Lead development of BI platforms, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to support decision‑making.
  • Strategic Leadership:
    Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, including governance, architecture, and analytics roadmap.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Establish data quality standards and compliance processes aligned with regulatory requirements.

    Collaboration:

    Partner with business units and leaders to identify analytics opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
  • Timeline Management:
    Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and that projects are completed on time. Adjust timelines as needed to accommodate business needs and resource constraints.
  • Change Management:
    Drive adoption of a data‑driven culture through training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Governance:
    Develop data integrity and oversight standards that ensure proper dissemination of data across the organization, balancing commercial access needs and privacy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or BI leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of implementing enterprise data governance and analytics programs.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients effectively.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to mitigate risks and resolve project challenges.
Preferred Skills
  • Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on analytics or technology.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power

    BI (or similar BI platforms).
  • Advanced proficiency with Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and security frameworks.
  • Change management experience in large‑scale transformation initiatives.
