Sr. QA Automation Engineer

Title and Location

Sr. QA Automation Engineer – Charlotte, NC (hybrid 3 days from office, onsite day 1 preferred)

Rates: $40/hr

• Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance automation.
• Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Python, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, and Git Hub Actions.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with cross‑browser and responsive UI testing.
• Knowledge of GenAI‑integrated features and validation of output accuracy.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and Python for functional, UI, and regression testing.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions) to enable continuous testing.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define UAT scenarios, coordinate user testing cycles, and validate business‑critical workflows.
• Conduct cross‑browser and responsive UI testing to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms and devices.
• Work closely with business users and analysts to support and troubleshoot UAT issues, capturing feedback and ensuring a successful sign‑off.
• Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured for backend validation.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to maintain stable, automated test environments and data sets.
• Assist in testing applications with GenAI‑integrated features, ensuring output accuracy, prompt behaviour, and alignment with defined use cases.
• Create and maintain clear test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test data, test results, and defect reports.

Contract – Director level expertise required.
