Responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of all information technology systems supporting a manufacturing plant and office environment. This role enables uninterrupted production and business operations by supporting plant-floor systems, enterprise applications, and infrastructure. The position also leads technology upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, and cost-optimization efforts to improve productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide day-to-day IT support to ensure uninterrupted operation of plant, warehouse, engineering, quality, and administrative systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to computer hardware, network connectivity, and software applications in both manufacturing and office environments.
- Support and maintain critical manufacturing technologies including ERP, MES, PLC interfaces, barcode systems, and shop-floor hardware.
- Manage cybersecurity controls such as user access, antivirus protection, system monitoring, and timely security patching.
- Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT assets including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, and related equipment.
- Maintain and optimize network and server infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless networks, backups, and data storage.
- Lead IT CAPEX and OPEX planning by evaluating return on investment, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and driving standardization.
- Proactively identify and implement system upgrades, modernization efforts, and automation initiatives to improve performance and reliability.
- Support production teams during system downtime by quickly diagnosing issues and coordinating corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories, licensing compliance, warranties, and lifecycle planning.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to align with corporate standards, share best practices, and ensure system compatibility.
- Provide IT onboarding, training, and ongoing user support to promote effective use of technology tools.
