IT Consultant, AI Engineer, Data Engineer
Infosys is seeking Python Gen AI Consultant. As a Python Gen AI Consultant, you will be a key player in the team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options and make recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of relevant information technology experience.

- The location for this position is Richardson, TX;
Charlotte, NC; or Phoenix, AZ. This position may require travel and/or relocation.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and integration with AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience with LLaMA 3.x:
- Fine‑tuning and prompt engineering for large language models.
- Knowledge of model deployment and optimization techniques.
- Experience with GPT‑4.x:
- Building applications leveraging GPT APIs or open-source implementations.
- Understanding of advanced prompting strategies and context management.
- Familiarity with transformer architectures, tokenization, and attention mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including:
- Model training and evaluation.
- Performance tuning and scalability.
- Experience with frameworks and tools such as Hugging Face or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for hosting and scaling AI solutions.
- Ability to design and implement secure and efficient pipelines for model inference.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
