Director of Data and AI

Our client is building a new enterprise AI capability and is seeking a senior leader to define, scale, and operationalize artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. This role will sit within the data organization and partner closely with executive leadership to drive innovation, governance, and measurable business impact through AI.

This is a greenfield opportunity for an experienced AI leader who thrives in complex, regulated environments and can balance experimentation with enterprise-grade delivery.

• Define and execute an enterprise-wide AI and advanced analytics strategy
• Lead development and deployment of AI/ML and generative AI solutions
• Establish scalable AI platforms, MLOps, and governance frameworks
• Build and grow a high-performing AI organization
• Partner with engineering, product, data, and business leaders
• Drive responsible AI practices aligned with regulatory expectations

• 10+ years in AI/ML with senior leadership experience
• Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
• Proven ability to scale AI solutions in complex organizations
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and modern data architectures
• Experience working in regulated industries
• Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical discipline
• Prior greenfield Data Analytics and AI builds
• Thought leadership or industry speaking experience
