Job SummaryAre you looking to develop your skills as an IT Security Analyst? Responsibilities include alarm monitoring, response, adjudication, forensics and triage operations delivered in collaboration with partner security operations teams and stakeholders globally. Security Analysts are the first line decision makers ensuring each response provides the required level of oversight in support of data center security operations; routing for resolution and/or driving escalations.
An ideal candidate will be able to work at all levels, from theoretical knowledge of security principles to practical application and real‑world implementation of processes and measures. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi‑task, good judgement, critical thinking, discretion, refined organizational, planning and prioritization skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The role requires office presence at our site at least two days per week.
Key Job Responsibilities- Security Operations Investigate deeper on detected behaviors when an incident is escalated by analysts, MSSPs and Security Tools
- Manage call resolution of incoming IT security incidents and tasks, add context to the incident to understand the behavior, analyzing data from multiple tools and data sources.
- Participate in crisis management by providing support to the incident handler and management.
- Create reports, visualizations and threat models of security attacks.
- Track trends for metrics and reporting.
- Work on the decrease of false positives.
- Review Threat Intelligence and potential attacks against Albemarle.
- Maintain the detection rules database & develop use cases.
- Customer Relation
- Participate in recurring meetings with the customer as the technical referent.
- Provide recommendations or workarounds to the customer to reduce business impact.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement of the service (detection level, process, operational procedures, service efficiency, service reporting).
- Support the customer for remediation of incidents.
- Support management for the reporting of the activity.

- Participate in the improvement plan for service efficiency and detection rules.
- Be aware of and stay current with leading practices for IT security through research, networking, prototyping and education.
- Become an active and valuable member of an international IT organization.
- Familiarize yourself with numerous IT security technologies used across Albemarle.
- Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with numerous teams of IT experts from across the globe.

- Required:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in written and verbal form.
- University degree in IT.
- Ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Ability to operate effectively within a team environment.
- Customer service focus and troubleshooting skills.
- Multitasking skills, including answering multiple calls and prioritizing emails, instant messaging and ticket related communications.
- Working in fast‑paced environments with the ability to manage workloads when handling incident responses with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Understanding security protocols, authentication and authorization.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, KQL, Hex editor, Debugging.
- Using MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Detail oriented, natural curiosity and tenacity.
- Advantageous (but not required):
- Experience in access control and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with process management methodologies such as Six Sigma or ITIL Delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe).
- Experience with Fresh Service ticketing system.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800 series, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS
