Our client is seeking a project manager to support multiple small to medium cybersecurity and compliance technology projects. The environment values structured delivery, clear communication, and effective coordination across business and technology stakeholders.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W‑2 basis. For our W‑2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401(k) with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $48.00 to $55.00/hr (W‑2)
Responsibilities- Manage multiple medium projects and smaller ad‑hoc requests aligned to regulatory commitments with critical due dates.
- Coordinate matrixed resources across business support groups.
- Facilitate meetings with business and IT/Cyber stakeholders to gain consensus on issues, align to requirements, and elevate new or modified requirements to the lead PM.
- Anticipate, document, and monitor issues and risks.
- Ensure development and maintenance of project documentation including assumptions, decisions, actions, and issue logs.
- Act as the single point of contact for all testing deliverables and provide clarifications to testing requirements.
- Lead defect triage, prioritize defects, and ensure test scripts are refined to validate fixes during testing phases.
- Apply structured project management methodologies.
- Plan and direct work efforts while motivating teammates.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and deliver effective presentations.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to reach agreements that meet organizational needs.
- Conduct effective meetings.
- Apply established project standards and change management processes.
- Experience managing compliance or cybersecurity projects is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to deliver in a fast‑paced environment and handle a higher volume of small projects.
- Desired audit experience.
- Four‑year degree.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W‑2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
