Experient is an Atlanta- and Charlotte-based strategy, business, and IT consultancy that delivers flexible, innovative solutions rooted in customer empathy and measurable business results. We partner with Fortune 500 clients to drive meaningful transformation through ambitious, high-impact programs.

We are seeking a Change & Project Management Consultant to join our Transformation team. This role blends change leadership, transformation delivery, and project management discipline to help clients successfully implement new processes, systems, and ways of working. You will play a critical role in guiding organizations through complex initiatives by managing both the human side of change and the execution required to deliver results on time and on budget.

This is an ideal role for a consultant who is comfortable leading change, coordinating cross-functional work streams, and partnering closely with client stakeholders—without needing to be deeply technical.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and execute change management strategies to support organizational, process, and technology transformations, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption planning.
  • Apply project management discipline to plan, coordinate, and track initiative delivery—managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and budgets.
  • Partner with client leaders and project sponsors to align objectives, clarify scope, and define success metrics.
  • Conduct stakeholder and change impact assessments to identify risks, resistance points, and readiness gaps.
  • Develop and deliver clear, targeted communications and training that prepare employees to adopt new ways of working.
  • Facilitate working sessions, status meetings, and Agile ceremonies as appropriate to ensure alignment and momentum across teams.
  • Coordinate across business and technology teams, vendors, and PMO partners to ensure work streams remain aligned and progressing.
  • Monitor adoption and delivery metrics, proactively escalating issues and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Coach leaders and managers on change best practices and their roles as change champions.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with clients by deeply understanding their business, processes, and transformation goals.
  • Identify additional opportunities to support clients through strong delivery, collaboration, and insight.
What You’ll Bring
  • 4–8+ years of experience in change management, project management, or transformation roles. Management consulting or professional services required.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance change leadership and project execution in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid), including scheduling, prioritization, and budget tracking.
  • Experience supporting initiatives involving business process change and/or technology-enabled transformation.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with leaders, team members, and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • High emotional intelligence and comfort navigating ambiguity, resistance, and organizational dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with client and internal teams.
  • Experience identifying risks early and partnering with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Prosci certification or experience with change frameworks such as ADKAR a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree and/or relevant certifications a plus.
