Responsibilities and Qualifications for AWS Data Engineers with Kafka:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services
- Work with Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka), Build data lakes using Amazon S3 and develop ETL jobs using AWS Glue
- Query data using Amazon Athena / Redshift
- Use Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bridge where applicable
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or Amazon MSK
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
- Strong SQL skills
