Experienced developer who has worked throughout a full technology stack. Evaluate and/or design new systems, applications, services, or other technology tools that support growth, enhance services to members, and provide efficient processes for end-users which support the strategic goals of the credit union.
responsibilities:
- Evaluate and/or design new systems, applications, networks, or other technology tools that support credit union growth, enhance services to members, and provide efficient processes for end-users within an Agile Development lifecycle.
- Develop, implement and maintain application software to established standards and specifications.
- Analyze, debug, test and document problems or recommend solutions that involve new applications.
- Maintain appropriate documentation regarding new programs or changes to existing programs.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of changing trends in technology and programming language.
- Implement, install, configure and provide technical support of software developed or maintained by the department.
- Provide planning, direction and advanced technical expertise regarding financial service applications such as Online Banking, Mobile Banking and integrations between various systems.
- Serve independently and/or as an integral team member in case of emergency involving computer systems.
- Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
- Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission and vision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Science college degree in Mathematics, Computer Science field, Information Technology or similar.
- Prior experience with Jack Henry Symitar programming, Power On and Sym Xchange preferred
- Expert level understanding of object-oriented programming principles, web frameworks, design, and databases.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as direct other departmental staff.
- Expertise integrating various API’s into existing microservice architecture.
- Experience in writing within SDK environments.
- Skill in listening and problem resolution in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the business and promotes professional customer service.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical users at all organization levels.
- Able to receive and maintain confidentiality.
