Senior Data & Analytics Consultant

This role is for a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant in Charlotte, NC, with a 12+ month contract at $40-$42 per hour. Requires expertise in MSSQL, data analysis, and governance. Preferred skills include G Data Cloud and Agile familiarity.

Location:

Charlotte, NC 28277.

Pay range: $40 - $42 per hour.

Contract:

12+ month (possibility to extend 24 months).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use cases.
• Design and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and data accuracy.
• Identify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoring.
• Support database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutions.
• Participate in data management documentation including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata management.
• Evaluate upstream system of record changes for potential data impact and provide recommendations.
• Translate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specifications.
• Partner with technology and data governance groups to ensure alignment with the team’s and enterprise data standards.

• MSSQL:
  Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Data Analysis:
  Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMS.
• Documentation:
  Ability to define clear data sourcing and transform logic requirements and database/table/column specifications.
• Experience with metadata management and data governance practices.
• Proficiency in data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issues.

• Experience with G Data Cloud stack (Dataplex, Big Query, etc.).
