IAM Analyst - Charlotte

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking an IAM Analyst - Charlotte to join their team. As an IAM Analyst - Charlotte, you will be part of the Information Security Department supporting the IAM team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IAM Analyst - Charlotte

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $41-43/hr

• Support the organization’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) program by facilitating processes and ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Process user access requests for applications, systems, and platforms, ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding of users.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and security leadership to safeguard systems and data through effective identity governance.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Investigate and resolve access‑related incidents, collaborating with security operations to remediate vulnerabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in information security or IT operations with a focus on IAM.
• Hands‑on experience with identity governance tools such as SailPoint, Okta, or Azure AD.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, IAM principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
