Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Salary is 70k to 85k
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support for enterprise applications and systems. This role requires a strong technical background in SQL Server and Windows environments, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. The ideal candidate will ensure application stability, support end‑users, and work closely with IT teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide application support, troubleshooting, and resolution for enterprise systems.
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, including T‑SQL queries and scripts.
- Support Microsoft Windows servers, ensuring proper operation of systems and applications.
- Assist in application installations, configurations, patches, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify, document, and resolve application issues.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, logs, and support procedures.
- Respond to and resolve user tickets, providing timely communication and updates.
- Participate in testing and deployment of new application features and enhancements.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in T‑SQL.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows server administration and related tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across applications, servers, and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in enterprise application support.
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and automation tools.
- Exposure to ITIL or IT service management processes.
